Abstract

James the Brother of Jesus, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan

naskah Pesher Habakuk adalah Yakobus saudara Yesus (James the

Just) dan Manusia Pendusta adalah Rasul Paulus. Cukup banyak

Robert Eisenman, cukup kontroversial.

Penulis menyebutnya “Beyond Post-Truth.” Kiranya sepercik uraian

ini akan berguna bagi para pembaca.

Abstract

In this article, the author proposes rebuttal arguments, including

against the views of Robert Eisenman in his book James the Brother

of Jesus, particularly with regard to Eisenman's identification that

the Teacher of Truth mentioned in the Pesher Habakkuk manuscript

is James the brother of Jesus (James the Just) and the Man of Lies is

the Apostle. Paul. There is quite a lot of controversy surrounding the

identity of the Spouter of Lies in the DSS or what is often known as

the Qumran manuscripts, one of the hypotheses proposed by one of

the Qumran experts, namely Robert Eisenman, is quite controversial.

He suspects that based on Josephus' records and other sources, that

the Spouter of Lies was none other than the Apostle Paul who wrote

most of the letters in the New Testament. Although many other

arguments can be put forward to refute Robert Eisenman, in this

paper the author focuses more on the spiritual meaning of the

controversy between the Master of Truth and the Man of Lies, and

its implications for those who are moved to follow the Spirituality of

the Straight Path. Some of the direct implications that can be drawn

from the Spirituality of the Straight Path will be discussed at the end

of this paper, including: how we should learn to be bearers of life

and the tree of life, and also how to develop a healthy attitude and

integrity in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Post-Truth

understanding. The author calls it “Beyond Post-Truth.” Hopefully

this little description will be useful for the readers.
